The ability to turn ON/OFF the electric gunsite would make the sim more historicaly accurate, as well as get rid of the gunsite when you land, for better vision. Remember, most gunsties were a light bulb reflection on glass.

There's a reticle dimmer, I believe. I've not used it, but I swear it's there...

Historical accuracy means little though. It would be historically accurate to be able to flip the bird at enemy pilots, but they didn't include it in the game for some reason.

There is no way to turn it off, I don't even think you can dim it. Why more members haven't commented on this is beyond me? Its in the way, most of the time, and its a bummer.

mmm, jet sims are notorious for not letting you change the brightness of the HUD. At night the HUD blinds you.

ermmmmm, i believe your referring to the one on the german birds. Thats not what he means.

I think it would be a good idea to be able to turn it on and off. Also, i think it would be neat if you were able to use the iron sights on the planes (most notable the zeke) But i would really like to be able to use the iron sights if the reticle was shot out or something. My .02
