I really have the itch to get a new mobo and cpu. The amd 64 bit is too much right now
(wife will kill me) but the socket "A" boards and Athlon XP, i can swing pretty soon. would I be better off getting a P-4 board and cpu or stick with the amd stuff. Always had good service with amd. Any suggestions on the board and cpu. It is 90% gaming used , and a little surfing and online bill paying.

I have been very happy with the Abit NF7-S and the XP2500+ overclocked to 3200+.

You can get both for under $250.
