Why isn't the Li-2 or C-47 flyable. They both are mods of DC 3, one of the most famous aircradt in the world. They should definetly be flyable!!! Alos, more flyable heavy bombers to the game...

Don't forget the JU52 if somebody free to do some cockpit modeling.

Speed is the KEY.

Agreed. I read and understood the part about "problems making bombers flyable" when it comes to obscure gunner positions on the FW-200; but the C47/DC3 airframe has got to be the most famous propeller transport in the history of aviation. Surely if the IL2 Crew can create the cockpit for the Horton Flying Wing they can work up the flight stations for the C47. I say "surely" since they have demonstrated remarkable ability in the area of modeling these aircraft. It'd be nice is all I'm saying http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The "Il2 Crew" [at 1C:Maddox games] didn't do the 3D model of the Go229; Gibbage did it, inside and out.

The "Il2 Crew" is quite busy with multiple projects presently, and the DC3 cockpit obviously doesn't have the priority of other projects. If a 3rd party modeler does its cockpit (soon), the crew at Maddox games will likely take the time to make it flyable.
