I know THX1138 did that for ExtremeOne's BoB campaign. So, i want to have some inflight music too. I created a .wav file, 11Khz, 8bit, mono, and put it in "samples/music/inflight", trying to do what was done for the said campaign. The result, although funny, wasn't bearable : the song was played at high pitch, 10 times the normal speed.

Se, what did i do wrong ? Can someone help ? Am i doomed to not hearing cool music while making Bf109s go boom ?

I'll bump it as I too would like to know how best to go about importing my own music.

You need a program called CDex. Download it here:
http://www.cdex.n3.net/

The music tracks are not 11Khz, 8bit, mono (they'd sound a bit rubbish if they were) that is the the standard for the radio chatter files.

Get your music files into MP3 format... and then run CDex.

Choose Convert > Add Riff Header to MP3

This will turn your MP3 into a Wav (although it is still really an MP3).

That's it... put them into your Forgotten Battles/samples/music folders and you're away.

There are some good tracks available here to download as well if you like:

Have fun!
