Here is a stupid message the high command sent me, can you guys decypher it?

Message: MDZD FAPN LAHD RYCM BFGQ MYUJ VVHN FPKRQ

here is the enigma machine used to decypher: http://www.ugrad.cs.jhu.edu/~russell/classes/enigma/

here are the settings:
Rotors/Reflector : 3 6 6
Rotor 1 : 3/3
Rotor 2 : 2/7
Rotor 3 : 3/6

with these settings you should get a new number for the first reflector and a message that must be decyphered with the new reflector setting to get a secret word!

have fun and dont post the word if you find it.
Let the others have a try..

This is from our squadron forum but i though you guys would like it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Too smart for me...

I feel inferior... I beat puzzle games like Myst and Riven sans walkthrough, but can't do this http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif.

Bah, these guys can decipher anything. Just spend some time with them, CD_Turbo. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/59.gif

(I'm afraid only Spaniards will understand this, sorry.) http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Dux, if I had to wear a hat like that I'd have a mixed look of resentment/constipation too

Sssshhh! Now they don't use them except with their dress uniform, but they're so proud of them as a Spec. Op. of his green beret, so I wouldn't joke too much about it... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

They are Spanish Civil Guards, a militarised rural police arm. It was founded in the 19th century. The photo depicts them as they were many years before, when they earned fame of being as efficient policemen as tough questioners...

There's a joke about this:

An Egyptian man finds a stone in the middle of desert. He starts excavating and finds a whole pyramid. A pair of Egyptian scientists are sent to investigate the founding. They enter the pyramid and stay inside six months. When they exit they are discouraged and confess they have not discovered nothing. "Those inscriptions are encrypted and are unknown to us".

So, the British send their two best archaelogists to research. They spend six months inside. They exit and say: "We know nothing, but it is 4.000 years old at least".

The German send two prestigious decryption experts, who spend another six months in the pyramid. "A great king is buried here, and he was married, but that's all".

Finally, Spain sends a Civil Guard and his mate. THey spend two hours inside. They exit and call the press: "The pyramid was built 2.364 BC by pharaoh Herameh VI. The pics say about his marriage with Hitite princess Huakali, and his war against the hicsos. A full report of 234 pages can be read here..."

The press is astonished: "How can you success in just two hours, when the best scholars in the world have spent a year and a half, and have failed to find anything?"

"Well, it was hard at first, but finally that hard-headed mummy has full confessed!"

In my wilder youth I was " questioned " by some gentlemen who would get along well with those fellows then.

As one said in his best W Virginia drawl

" Yer gonna plead guilty for the day is over boy, might as well make it quick "
