For all you P-51 fans. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

You can get an authentic P-51 reprint of the Official Government Handbook. It's printed full size with all the photos, diagrams, and data included.

This website is pretty cool. My dad has his CPL and flew the duel control Mustang, "Crazy Horse", this year. Best part is, he did mock ground attack runs over a military target range, complete with a runway and vehicles (after permission from the U.S. Military of course). He's flown many A/C his whole life and even he got quessy toward the end of the flight.

Anyway, the Airfield is in Orlando, Florida and is part of the "Fantasy of Flight" complex. Definately worth a look if any of you ever get out that way! I flew the duel control T-6 SNJ Trainer. Even if you don't fly they have a working museum where I saw in detail the restoration of a P-40 and a B-17 (you could actually touch the planes!). They specialize in restoring B-25's and also had two on display. The P-51 hanger also had several other P-51's and a Spitfire (in flying condition). I'll try to get my photos up on webshots soon!
