Dont know if anyone else has found this but ive just spent the last 2 hours cruising round this site and lapping it up!

Based around photos taken of WW2 documents in the British Public Records Office, most of which deal with fighter, bomber and weapon effectiveness.

Some of the documents inlude;

"Vulnerability of 109 F to attack from .303, 50cal, 20MM Ball and 20MM HEI"

"Investigation of Turning Circles of Me 109, Spitfire and Hurricane"

"P47 vs FW109"

"Spitfire 1a and Vb Dive Characteristics"

"Report of Comparitive (sic) of Hurricane vs ME 109, May 1940"

"Aircobra (P39) preliminary handeling trials, August 1941"

Everyone should bookmark this site! Its invaluable. So much first hand evidence and documantation. I may never have to open my big mouth without having evidence to back me up (ok, lets not go too far http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif).

The site is at http://prodocs.netfirms.com/ and is run by the WWIIonline community.

Now if you'll all excuse me im off to do a spot of reading.
