View Full Version : Shugoki oni rush needs to be looked at

"high level" tournaments and twitch streamers have adopted the "oni rush" tactic as a viable way to win tournaments at "high level" play.

They all just unlock off their opponents run in a circle and time the "oni rush" knocking the opponent to the ground and getting a heavily tracked free shugoki heavy on their helpless opponent on the floor.

If this is what the DEVs intended for the game then so be it. I think for honor has more potential than this.

Make the "oni rush" a bit longer in distance so the shugoki is out of range to hit the downed opponent.
Or just make it so the shugoki can't track a heavy or light onto the downed opponent.

This way it can still be used in 4v4 or 2v2 situations as a good disable ability so teammates can capitalize on the downed opponent instead of the shugoki himself, encouraging teamwork.
