S!
I was wondering does anyone know anything of the planned BoB planeset? Hurries, Spits, 109's, Stukas, maybe even an early 190?

Also I was wondering if there is anywhere where I could host files, tracks and such, for free. I have a great one of my 109 z with half of the right plane blew off. I landed it, kind of..

It's ot, but I found this site a little while ago, www.rathergood.com (http://www.rathergood.com) , it's absolutley Hilarious!

If you look through the development update archives you will see what there is to know about the BoB planeset.

The BoB mainstays seem to be represented, from Hurricane, Stuka, He-111, CR.42, Br.20M, Bf-109E, Bf-108, Gladiator, Anson, Ju-52, Ju-88, Defiant, Do-17, and Wellington accounted for so far.

As of yet there's nothing to suggest the time frame goes as far as the FW-190. I'd imagine it would be limited to BoB proper.

There are also some dev screenshots for the Spitfire on another forum (bet you didn't guess that the Spit would be in BoB http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif), but I don't have a link on me.

Anyone else have info on the plane list? I remember Oleg making a statement before, not about the exact planes, but about the focus of the planeset, but I can't find it.

BoB aircraft that have appeared in the development updates are:

Gloster Gladiator Mk II
Boulton-Paul Defiant Mk I
Avro C-30A
Vickers Wellington Mk Ic
Hawker Hurricane
Avro Anson

Junkers Ju87B
Messerschmitt Bf108
Junkers Ju52 (wheels and floats)
Junkers Ju88A
Heinkel He111H
Dornier Do17Z
Fiat BR20M
Fiat CR42
Messerschmitt Bf109E

A minimum of Spitfire I & II, Blenheim I, Messerschmitt Bf110C still to come I would think, but there should not be a Fw190 as this wasn't introduced until 1941.

Cheers!

I think I remember Oleg saying about 20 a/c with 10 to 12 flyables. The Avro gyrocopter seems to be a strange addition if the planeset is going to be so limited. The Gladiator didn't take part in BoB as such either, they were defending Plymouth dockyards but didn't see action IIRC.
Cheers!

The pure number of a/c in BoB will be somewhat limited, compared to IL2FB. This is due to the limited focus and to the improvements on other areas like the new gfx-engine, advanced AI and a highly complex damage-system - just look at the internal modelling http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif

I doubt a 109z is in and I'm very glad about that http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
