In IL2:Forgotten Battles, absolutely yes. In the original IL2 Sturmovik, no.

Tully means Offline. You can't use skins offline in the Original.

You have to set player skin in the aircraft customization screen of FMB and QMB. Its a Bear to figure out.

You can change the player skin as well as the aircraft skin online...when you have downloaded them put them in the skin folder for the aircraft you are using the address on your PC will be C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\PaintSchemes

When you have unzipped and dropped them in the folder, you can select them in the arming window, just select none in the markings windows otherwise they will over mark the ones on the skins.....

As for flying them off line you can actually fly them about by starting a server up although you will be on your own. Thats how us skinners tend to paint them, tweek a bit here and there, save it and fly it off line to see if it lines up etc then.. adjust.. adjust.. adjust.. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Personally, I use the Quick Mission builder to test skins.

There is a grey button at the far right hand side of the aircraft row ...

Each aircraft in the flight has to be given it's skin individually. (FB remembers the last skin used by the player).
Use the drop list at the top left hand side (aircraft number within flight).

Unless I've corrected it here
