First of all, thanks everyone for answering so quickly. Does anyone know where I can go to find a list of joysticks that have been tested to work with IL2 and Forgotten Battles? Thanks very much!

www.saitek.com (http://www.saitek.com) or you can go here: http://www.provantage.com/buy-110chpu-ch-shopping.htm

Basically, any joystick that works in the operating system (i.e. appears as configurable in the Windows | Control Panel | Game Controllers dialog) should work fine for IL2FB. Obviously some work 'better' than others but again that is a function of the joystick rather than the game.

Popular choices are the Saitek X-45, CHPro F16 Combatstick and the Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar setup. Depends on your budget really.

i would think just about everything except the really old school joysticks would work

also go with one that has force feedback, otherwise it just feels a lot weaker if you dont have the stick shaking and resisting
