The last thing I want in this sim is the B17 and lots of Maps. Well, if Oleg want's to add more ground objects and have a point system for civilians and enemy combatants, I'd be set.

Actually, now that I'm on it, I guess I should ad better full mission builder to the list of functionality changes. Generally, the full mission builder seems clunky to me.

The biggest problem with the full mission builder is that it is hard to find the right sort of mission to fly. Since the missions don't often have full descriptive explainations as to what they are, it is hard to deside if that mission is the right one. Often, the only way to find out is to load and fly them.

That leads to the question of Quick Mission Builder. I like the quick mission builder because of it's ease of use. But it is limited as to what you can actually do. With AEP, there are now 4 areas. I have heard that it is rather a large task to be able to fly in other cities within quick mission builder. Is there a way to build my own? Basically, there are times when I just want to take a quick flight with an airstart over normandy along the coast. Is there a way to set the game up so that it shows up in quick mission builder? Are there instructions for doing this?

The other thing that "bothers" me is not being able to change joystick settings inside the game whle flying. You can change video modes but not the joystick stuff. Some planes roll really fast with my joystick settings. In order to tone them down, I have to exit the game...

Yes you can make your own missions in FMB. Takes time to learn it though, and there are much undocumented AI Features and behaviors you need to experiment with and find so you can get the most out of the FMB.

One of the better ways to learn the FMB, these days, is to get Uberdemon's QMB at http://www.uberdemon.com

Set up a simple mission in UQMB, load it in the FMB, see what's what.

Of course for the kind of mission you're asking for UQMB is perfectly capable of building a mission with hundreds of bombers and interceptors and escorts, etc.
