Hey all you full real jocks out there. The Birds of Prey server1 is back in action. Today we loaded a Omaha Beach Map to help you remember D day and the Brave Pilots on both sides that fought and died hard. The game is listed in hyperlobby and you will notice that the icons are shown to be on. You will also notice the same thing when you go to pick your aircraft. Trust me it is still a a full real session and once you are in the game you will see why you will not see any Icons but you will be able to spot aircraft in a very realistic manner and you wont get eyestrain either. Also there is a Tank battle in the desert mission. The 109s wont overheat on this mission. This means that you full real 109 jocks can fly your aircraft as hard as you want. Also in todays lineup is a good tank hunt in a city mission, a sack the me262 base mission, Dunkirk , and the Battle of Britian.
Guys come visit the server. Teamspeak is also available just ask for the Ip and Pw when you join the session. Salute all. we will be looking for you.

K the server is very quite. I'm going to assume that there isn't a real interest for a strong full real server. I will shut down the server and bring Birds of Prey2 back on Line. It performed very well yesterday. Thanks everyone I tried. I'll leave this topic alone until I get the Birds of Prey Website and interface up and running.

It does take time and some serious PR effort to get a popular server going...take some patience and keep promoting your server, the players will come.

Hmmm, I am just seeing this now and won't be flying yet for another 4 hours but I would like to try out the server to see what you have done. It does take time to get a server to attract a crowd.

Sry tailspin I already switched servers over. Server#2 is running now. And now it just appeared on the dogfight in progress list on Hyperlobby. It two hours for it to show itself due to all people flying today. Your still welcome to join . At least see what the server can do for the full real flyers. It hosted 34 pilots yesterday without any problems ( Yes I know how to host more than 32 pilots on Hyperlobby). One or two pilots complained about lagg but I believe that their rigs couldn't handle all the aircraft. The servers Cpu was cruising along between 2 and 5 percent and using 525kbs without any packet loss. Come and check it out.

I have only one question, what is the ping limit for the server? I average 250 but at times while in rooms with other 56kers my ping will jump to 300-325. Ive tried to get on twice(at different days) and kept getting the high ping warnings. I dont want to ruin the game for others so I thought Id ask before trying to keep getting in. I dont mind if I cant get in, after all I have a 56K and theres nothing I can really do about it. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Just wanted to ask you this question.

"Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary force:
You are about to embark upon a Great Crusade toward which we have strived these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking" - Gen. Dwight D. Eiseinhower-Supreme Allied Commander.
