So were sultry ladies and Russians waving US flags.

To be fair.

The title of this thread reminded me of the movie "Empire of the Sun" when the little boy(Christian Bale?) was running around on that roof yelling "P-51, Cadillac of the sky!" and the guy waves at him from the Mustang.

That was a great movie.

Thank OberstWiley, it's from his site and he went to the effort to capture the scene. There's lots of other good stuff at his site. /i/smilies/16x16_robot-happy.gif

Damn I love that scene. Spielberg is a god! Maybe he'll do a big epic movie about the 8th Air Force cica 43-44? Imagine his artistry but making an air war flick in the same flavor as Saving Pvt Ryan! One can only dream.

I have not over looked late War scenarios between the P51D and the KI84, for the - Empire of the Sun- Coop Missions I am building.
The Coop Mission Series is named after the same Movie by the Way
Im waiting for Patch release to see the effect it has on Missions built so far, once that is done I will be waiting on the P51s and the Jap planes to be released into fb, so that I can complete the down load page.
Am currently looking at suitable maps for late war P51 V Ki84 and Zero Coop missions.
