View Full Version : Do deployed War Assets persist through territory updates?

I was wondering if when I let's say...

1) Deploy War Assets on territories A and B. My faction currently owns A but not B
2) Territory updates happen, and we win territory B and lose A
3) Next I chose to still deploy assets on A and B

Do the assets I deployed on A (which I owned and lost) and B (which I did not own but won) from last update persist?
Do they not persist?
Or is there a more complex rule depending on whether we win/lose a territory?

Thats sad D:

Doesnt make sence though that you can send like 1000000 soldiers to 1 spot against 1 of their, and then that 1 soldier kills all our 1000000 soldiers but maybe 1, and then that soldier dies after or something.... Even if no one attacked that zone, does all those soldiers fight themself in a big brawl untill they are all dead?

Also, it makes all war assets spent in a zone that is lost 100% wasted....

Tbh the drastic difference at start of updates seemed to me to support the hypothesis of persistance of assets in some ways. We always seem to have higher amount of starting assets in terriotries closer to our capital city or w/e you wanna call it. maybe it's just a defense bonus though.

It would make sense that all survivors are put on defence around the boarders. Maybe thats the case but dunno if there is any way to test this.
