How difficult would it be to include an "instrument" toggle-view (like the gunsight zoom toggle).. ?

That would make it a LOT easier for users to check temperature gauges, RPM and other items at a very quick glance as needed without manually having to move the pilot's head down to look at them.

Remember, not everyone owns a Track-IR set.

I think this would help folks out tremendously to have an up-close instrument view to be able to check out all your gauges and dials with a quick toggle-able button selection.

I'd rather read the INSTRUMENTS than rely on the text HUD information for relevant settings.

No one else?

Most of the instruments in the "realistic" FB-planes don't work or show useless datas.

Really.. that's a sore disappointment.

Very good idea, bump. i have the same feelings about that

Sure would be nice, even if just for RPM, boost and temperature gauges.

(still can't believe the other gauges don't work? That's bizarre to me for a game that is supposed to be the most realistic WII simulation ever made.)

Newview includes this as one of its default bindings. Pressing shift tilts the view down about 30 degrees to show the instrument panel - or you could use predefined "button generator" or UView functions to zoom in on a particular instrument.
