title says it all. played the Division LAST NIGHT. ~20 hours ago from this post. just tried to play some overwatch (uplay was open and closed a few times in the 20 hour time span BUT WAS NOT RUNNING AT ALL DURING ANY FOLLOWING STEPS) and notice very unusual lag. check my resource monitor, and some part of thedivison.exe was STILL RUNNING it was running through a service host svchost and after 20 some hours was still using ~ 2Mb a second of hard drive read and write. AFTER 20 DAMN HOURS. WTF is this seriously? ive noticed a decrease in overall system performance before after playing the division but never tracked it down, finally did turns out not only does the div not like releasing ram for awhile but it also continues to make ridiculous amount of read and write to the hard drive presumably forever untill a system restart is performed.

That is extremely strange. Does verifying the game files or reinstalling the game fix this?

neither have changed the issue, there has been alot of reports of the division negatively effect system performance and im wondering if people would check to see if its the common issue. i plan on doing more tests to see what all effects this and will update this thread when finished.

Edit: this is on a win 7 x64 up to date dx 11
