View Full Version : What a disappointment, Ubisoft :(

I remember the first time i heard about For Honor(E3 2015)..they spoke about furious and amazing mlee fight, splitscreen, single and multiplayer, offline and/or online, amazing gameplay. Something like a window on real medieval fights. That is what Ubisoft promised back then.

I imagined something like Witcher but with no magic. My bad. :(

What i see now is a MOBA-ish, multiplayer only (kinda), no splitscreen, microtransactions, bugs, "always online" policy, no dedicated servers, single player campaign designed as a tutorial for the online gaming. For 60 bucks.

What happened to the game you promised us?
I was going to be a D1 buyer, 'till some months ago.... now i think i will not buy this game at all.
I am really sad about this, because i was waiting for this game like a child waits for Christmas.

This is my point of view, so noone has to agree with me. But i had to say this. Deus Vult, lol.

Sorry for any grammar error, english is not my native language.

The story mode is cool - its very well done.amd only the first few missions are tutorialesque.

It could be longer though ;p

No really - I am not kidding. Give us more stories. Priority one!

Do it.

I kind of agree on the microtransactions but tbh, they don't make a huge difference, because the gear you get is only usable in I think two mp-modes. And higher quality gear is only more specialised and therefore more difficult to use. P2W is something different.

Microtransactions are but a part of the issue, my priority was the single player campaign (i read some reviews about it, today: 5 hours campaign? FOR REAL??) and the possibility to play on splitscreen with my Gf...

I really wanted to love this game. Really.

Oh well, let's go back to my old, good Mount&Blade... sigh :(

Sounds like your own fault for expecting something they didn't advertise the game as

May be, but the splitscreen was a thing till december '16 - and yeah, the single player was a hope of mine. That's why i am not raging about this, i'm just saying i'm disappointed by their choice.

Bye Felicia

Single-player is still a thing. There's the campaign and AI matches to play.
