I just got AEP and love it. The new planes are great - and the Gloster Gladiator/J8A is absolutely a work of art. Easily the best cockpit ever! I can smell the leather and petrol now.

A few minor questions - not whines.

(1) Why Bf109Z and not P-82. 109Z is an awesome plane, with only one drawback - it was never flown so how can we really know if it would have been the holy terror it is in AEP. P-82 was an operational plane by 1946. Since P-82 was usually flown from one cockpit only at a time, I don't see why it could not be modelled - and you are almost there already with the P-51D's (I realize there woud have to be some changes to reflect the revised H model fuselage the P-82 used. Please, it there are any more "'46" planes, lets have an 82!

Meteor. The ONLY operational allied jet and we get the YP80. Not complaining really.....but...

But overall, I'm in love once again with IC Maddox. Now back to my J8A and smell the oil.

It's a twin cockpit. Oleg has stated before in response to request for dual control aircraft such as trainers and whatnot, that it wasn't really possible for the engine to handle. That might not be the reason, but, it'd be my guess.

well, what if they only model one cockpit for it, the left one, and the other cockpit will be nothing, nada, zip, zilch. It'll just be a nice section to look to. You don't need to model every position. I also had the same Ideas for the Liason planes. I think we should build a cockpit for the Fi-156 storch. The second position could either be a gunner or AI in another model.

I'd rather see a Meteor than a P-82 personally...

The reasons for having the experimental aircraft in the game from this point on are less apparent than when the third party modelers initially started their efforts (with mass quantities of aircraft being reserved and never finished) so there is hope now that someone may do more well used aircraft.

Sounds more and more like people are just ticked off to no end that the LW has a great performing prop with no Allied counterpart to equal or exceed it. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Meteor would be a better option. The idea of modeling 1 side of the F-82 is questionable at best. People would love it for about 30 seconds before they started clamoring for the other pit to be usable in COOPs. It would get out of hand (as this place is wont to do)

Even over the Meteor, I'd rather keep the '46 thing alive and get a Vampire. It's cooler looking than the Meteor. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif since neither actually had an active role in WW2 I say neither should have or should be part of this sim.

The P-82/F-82 was flown from the left cockpit.
the right did have controls, but fewer gauges.
I would think It would be easy to make the
right cockpit a dummy.

Stop asking for planes, if u want a plane u got to modelled it ur self because oleg is not doing no more planes for fb, the b109z, and most or all new planes are 3rd party made, so go ask to netwings
