Looks like the ACE disc will only install to a root directory? Or is there a registry problem? I am running FB 1.22 with no problems -- cannot install ACE; getting error "cannot find FB". Help, please. This is not a very flexible installation setup.

Hi! I don't know how to help you, 'cause I don't have the APE yet( http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif ), but I guess that someone in Commynity Help forum does. So perhaps you should post your thread in there?

I really hope that you will overcome the problem, and Im 100% sure you will! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

And btw, welcome to the FB community! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Cheers!

Suggest complete uninstall of fb. Reinstall box version only (v1.0) and then AEP. You can install FB to any location you wish at the inital install. This will make a registry entry that AEP will read to find your FB install.

AEP has arrived! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Thanks, Steve, I was thinking that might be it when I noticed I did not have any registry entry anymore. I take it reinstalling all of the interim patches is not necessary ... good.

As it was explained to me in another thread on this same subject...that's because you probably did not use autorun when initially installing FB. I had the same problem. Fix: Uninstall FB and reinstall it using autorun and same for AEP.
