The Crimea map has mountains.

The terrain type is not easily recognizable in FB Mission Editor (what some call "FMB")

Try flying over these maps here...

Online Summer 4 has three huge isolated mountains. (note the town Olegovo /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif )

The southern part of the Kuban map has ~very~ sexy mountains and valleys too.

Forgot which one, but another online "island" map--the one with the big square landmass surrounded by blue water--is nothing but desert and forest mountains. I only found out about that one when somebody told me. I would never have guessed it was all mountains just looking at the bland map.

Forests show up as green. Easily recognizable. But the hills are only represented by those tiny brown lines of level elevation...and you must have the Object Detail setting to at least greater than LOW to see them on the map. **I think.** Funny how your grafix settings determine what the map looks like. No reason for that.

You could press enter on FMB and you can look around at ground level.

online island6 or something
it has relative canyons.
in FMB put red and bleu AAA nect to echother in the woods and watch as one of the 2 sides goes in
I edited the briefing so now there are rebels that wanna be neutral and hold the island for their own and do not share with others!

Yes! But only if you are zoomed in, enough so the basic map is replaced by the fancy terrain grafix.

Found it! FMB, Online Islands 6. Beautiful setting, canyons and mountains galore. Crazy fun to dogfight in, too.

Don't forget the lower right of the Kuban map--where all the green (forest) is. I like that better than the Summer~4 mountains. I love landing and taking off in the valleys between the rolling Kuban mountains (just don't land in the trees).

Try setting a flight of 4 AI aircraft taking off in one of the valleys. But make sure they don't take off into the hillsides. I did some Pe~3s and they all take off side by side, at the same time. Sexy. If you lead the flight, they will take off without you if you wait too long, so take your time but hurry it up.

Careful, the aircraft listed below won't takeoff except at official FB airfields...

and possibly some other minor AI only types.
