I've been enjoying your current version. This one will definitely be a mainstay for my missions. For those who spend a lot of time offline if they've never tried your editor they simply don't know what they're missing. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I knew that it wouldn't be long before we heard from you. With every patch/update/addon . . . this thing is never complete to me until I have your software to go along with it. AEP will finally meet my expectations when you have the update up for download.

Thank you so much!

My friends, I just wanted to make some comments:

1 - For the Zveno, there are 4 combinations you can choose:
- Fly TB3 with 1x I16
- Fly TB3 with 2x I16
- Fly one I16 attached to TB3
- Fly one of two I16 attached to TB3

think of the Coop possibilities. Yes they can be easily cloned...

2 - Note that each V-1 site can be cloned 100 times, so you could have up to 400 V-1s simultaneously per team. Also note that is the first successful application of the cloning algorithm to a non aircraft object. In the near future I'll add cloning to static ground targets, possibly to moving ones...

Oh, little detail... it is available in the dogfight arena... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

3 - Mistel AI is not too smart, but are great targets... BUT HOWEVER IF!! Think of the possibilities for Coop... 16 Mistels can be easily cloned...

4 - Note the NO AI PLANES Allowed in Dogfights new option, if you want to prohibit them... regardless of Rule set...

5 - Finally... did anyone notice the CREATE NEW RULE SET button? You will be able to create endless varieties of plane sets meeting YOUR criteria, all through the Object database, and in a Wizard format...

BTW, nothing I mentioned here is under development... it is fully functional now...

I have been quiet, but I have been busy...

http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thank you for your support... be just a little more patient... I want to make sure I put out a quality product out.

All Again,

Thank you for your support.

I did not say this before, but obviously you can:

- Fly the Mistel combo (Fw190/Ju88)
- Use the Ju88 Mistel bomb in a similar manner as a glider, so you can have a high altitude mission just to shoot these gliding bombs down.
- Use all new planes
- Use all new weapons
- Use all new regiments
- Fly the Ju88 Mistel bomb from outside view in a dog fight arena (if you use an unlimited rule set and you allow AI planes in the DF Arena) This is the closest to a suicide mission you can get, and it is interesting against ships.
- and I just finished updating the Object database with all new planes and fixed some errors.

* OH... yeah, for sure you will get at least 3 New maps for Single/Coop Play, that are ready:

* Kursk (with huge tank battle)
* Prokhorovka (with huge tank battle)
* Kuban (very complex and fun)

This thing looks fantastic, but one Q.

I currently have DCG installed. Does this program surplant the DCG mission generator? In other words, do I need both; or should I/must I uninstall DCG to use UQMG?

stelr,

DCG and UQMG are completely different animals... per se... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

So neither one will interfere, or add to each other.

DCG is a campaign engine. UQMG is strictly a one-mission-at-a-time quick generator.

UQMG is meant to be used almost as easily as the QMB, but it is as powerful as the FMB... and it includes features that are hard to implement... for example... a mission with over 100 planes can be designed and generated in a matter of seconds in UQMG... and it would take hours or days if you were to do the same in the FMB.

When you create a mission in UQMG, you are actually creating 3 missions at the same time:

1 - one single player
2 - one Coop version
3 - one Dogfight Arena

All missions are placed in the correct location so all you have to do is go to the right menu in IL-2... no need to mess with files or going to the FMB.

I dare to say... it almost feels as if it was a part of FB, because it uses the briefing interface as the integration point.

Please understand that the FMB is an extremely powerful tool, and I spend a great deal of time in it to design the template data sets for UQMG... it is meant for those who want to crete missions from scratch. UQMG is a tool for those who want to go on with the business of ENJOYING FB and all its features without going into much detail.

So in answer, UQMG and DCG can co-exist in complete harmony... they are very different in what they do, and they do not interfere whatsoever with each other.

No, thank you.

I can still remember the first time I tried the multiplier/cloning feature in you program, I just punched in some numbers and hit fly. It turns out later after I figured it out that I had something like 264 B-17's in the air http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif. Needless to say my framerate was 1 and it changed about every two minutes http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif but man what a sight.

Thanks again.
