Yes i have had sticking rudder problems, though it doesnt happen every time i go up.

Well mine seem to jump from one extreme side to the other, with the slightest touch on the Rudder Pedals.

I use the Pedals alot while I fly so it's abit of a ***** to say the least.

I'll do me best to get it sorted though

When my rudder sticks, it stays stuck.

Do you have a driver for your pedals? If so just reinstall it. I recently had a similar problem with my 3D Gold. The rudder was always stuck to the right. I just reinstalled an updated driver and the problem was gone. Sorry if this doesn't help.

BTW, my problem came with the previous patch.

Mine are still fine since the patch (just a shame about the pilot). Have you tried lowering your yaw sensitivity in the hardware input section? It may help. I don't know what to suggest other than that, apart from maybe uninstalling and reinstalling any software that came with the pedals, or maybe trying them in another port.

Good luck with it.

Sounds like new joystick time to me. You could try and reinstall the drivers. Maybe that would fix it, if not....

I should bloody hope not. It's a Cougar.

It's working now. Well playable at least, but I can only get it so even the slightest touch, sends it to the extreme right or left.

It's flyable cos of the deadzone and Filtering.

Maybe the Pedals are F**cked.

oops, pedals, my bad!

You could try posting this in the Technical Support forum, there are some pretty clever buggers in there.

Sounds to meet like you have two controllers trying to work the rudders...recommend you ensure that only one controller is controlling the rudders.

All the best, Don

Farkitt_, what are you using for rudder pedals? I've got a set of CH Pros and mine are fine. As you say they are touchy, but I've gotten used to that.

However my x and y axises are also very touchy. Just the slightest movement sends me all over the place. And that's in the widescreen cockpit view. Not good for mission coops we fly.

But I wouldn't use any other stick for flying. The Cougar is the best I've ever had, even for the price. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

They're Thrustmaster Elites, so they are definatly compatible. The problem is they were fine yesterday.

Try replacing the pot before you dump the pedals;it costs next to nothing; what do you have to lose?
