This should never happen. This is the kind of quality I'd expect from game servers back in 1996 using dial up, not 2016 with high speed access....

Hilarious. It's starting to feel as though this is becoming the norm for The Division. It was so bad yesterday that I couldn't even play, a first for me. I nearly had to quit this morning as well because it was so bad. I did a quick check of my networking stats this morning, a feature available on the Xbox One, and everything looked just fine. Latency was 68ms and my speed was exactly where it was supposed to be for a fiber optic connection (seriously fast).

The Division is the only game I've ever experienced this kind of frequent trouble with and I don't even play in the DZ! This never happened at all back when I played from beta to release and right on through to the release of patch 1.2 (I never played during 1.3 fwiw). It's absolutely horrible and it has nothing to do with anything client side (wired connection, Xbox One is in the DMZ and showing as open NAT on it). It's all on their end, either with bad net code or not enough servers in enough strategic places (probably both). Making the whole thing online only, including the LZ, was such a dumb move on their part.

Sorry for venting. The Division just gets sooo infuriating at times.

Apply now for the next elite task force. They will fly you in and you can fix their programming. I mean we already told them what's wrong with the game. We might as well fix this next.
