View Full Version : world cup/ nationality question

After reading the detailed rules pdf on the World Cup competition I was wondering something that I wasn't sure was clear from the text. For people competing at the live events in the various regions they have to hold the nationality of said country where the event is being held. I understand that. However does this apply to people who play in the qualifiers via the World Dance Floor online? For example I'm American born but live in GB therefore all my gaming activity, accounts etc. are always associated with this region because this is where I live/play from. However I'm not a British national so does that mean I can't compete in the qualifiers of my region, or should I be moved to the US rankings?

Thank you

Hi yankeegamergirl,

Even if you leave in UK your nationality will be taken into account :)

Last year, we had an American player who played in New-Zealand, but she was qualified as American. ;)
