OK. Everyone should know that the P-38 is my fave aircraft of the war. I modeled it and its comming soon in the add-on. What I wanna do is give Oleg some very accurate information reguarding its performance and charactoristics to make sure it is the aircraft it was.

Im not talking nationalistic data, or field mods. Im talking average performance. Speed, roll, turn, suarqs and things like this will help the beta testers fine tune this aircraft. Anything the local comunity can give me will help greatly. But you must back this up with referances!! I cant take blind pilot statements to Oleg as fact.

The thing I am most interested is top speed at altitudes (its hard to find speed for the P-38 at ground level), Roll rates for J without boost, and L with, and turn rates with and without flaps. Also, stuff like how much did roll benifit from the pilot chopping one engine. Things like that I wanna make sure Oleg knows, and can put in the sim. Also something about low speed handling will help.

Thanks in advance!

OLeg and I both have the manual, and I sent him Zeno's page last night. He said he has two DVD's on the P-38. He has a few sources, but I just wanna make sure its "fine tuned". Like the dive problems, and a strong structure.
