I am opening this thread as tagert had been asked multiple times to provide his sources and references regarding certain statements of him.

I hope this thread will enable him to show how well founded his opinion is.

So tagert, please provide us sources, references and/or proof for your following statements:

1, Wing structure on Bf 109 was never changed, it was the same on all versions

2, Bf 109 suffered from heavy wing twist at high speed

3a, Flettner tabs were never used on Bf 109 series at all

3b, Flettner tabs were not used on Bf 109G at all (v1.1)

3c, Flettner tabs were only used for Bf 109 prototypes (v1.2)

3d, Flettner tabs that were used on Bf 109G were only field kits (v2.0)

3e, Use Flettner tabs was discontinued on Bf 109K-6 production aircraft

3ea, Which brings us to ask you for evidence of Bf 109K-6 serial production

3f, Your reason why you claim that on the picturial evidence I have shown (Bf 109G-6/G-14 with aileron Flettner tab) the Flettner is "locked".

4, Use of Flettner tabs actually decreased roll rate on Bf 109

5, On what reasonable basis do you deny the factual data regarding aileron deflection given by Bf 109G/Flettner flight tests ?

I hope you will show more willingness in given real answers to these question that you did before.

Can we see the quotes by tagert showing his statements you ask about in your questions?

I'll give Tagert the chance to respond once but I won't allow this idiotic private pi$$in-contest any further.

I'd like to see some charts.

Doesn't matter on what, just charts.

And quotes, lots of them.

Not often that I feel the need to use this phrase, but I have to make an exception now;

GET A LIFE!

Really, meet your friends, take your girlfriend out, whatever.

Just so there is no confusion..... just to clarify.....

I would just like to admit that it was me/myself/and I that suggested the 109 wing was never improved, specifically from the E's to the F. This mistake of mine has been used as ammunition long enough on others who had nothing to do with it. It wasn't tagert, 'chimp or anyone else. I apoligize for my mistake, and I hope you can move on.

You are either a honest man willing to admit mistakes, or you are just trying to put a stop to this thread without having to have a mod step in. Either way, Thanks! S!

S! Striker. Since the Mod has come and gone without pulling the plug, YET..... I'll let you continue to draw your own conclusions..... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

3 Service before Self

they make me remember and say this stuff, but its good values for people handling nuclear arsenals, satellites, and C-130 turboprops. (guess which one is MY job, /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif )

Well, you have been given a chance to support your statements, tagert. You couldn`t. I`ll take that as a proof that they were unfounded and incorrect then, representing only the your fiction of reality, either on purpose or just in error. I didn`t expected it to happen anyway, I can`t remember any time when you did give any source for your statements, and it was clear to me that those were only made up by you, to serve your actual needs, and to convince others about your conceptions. Now we have it documented. Thank you.
