Hi, After playing the Alpha and watch many gameplays from the team and from the community I saw that the game that the really game responds to many criterias that could make it a real competitive game.

- The game is played in T4 (wich is the best number with T5 for competitions)
- The maps are adapted for competitive modes
- The game is based on the teamplay, we have to communicate to earn the victory, to know all the positions and to plays on the tops
- There is an innovative style of fighting based on the skill and the control of his character ( This skill can be disturbed by the guys who push everything they see but it's a part of the game and a way to earn victory.)

I think it's a little sad that we don't talk about the competitive future of this game because he interests me a lot and I'd like to make evolve it on Xbox and more generaly on every platform if I can.
That's why I 'll organise European (or other) community tournaments and events (I'm french that's why I don't speak perfectly english).
In spite of my participation this future depends of the community and Ubisoft that's why I ask to the independants players to create teams, clans (contact me for tournament) and to help me make this dream come true.
I can also give my help (by voluntary) to Ubisoft by organsing tournaments and develop the competitive aspect of this game

If someone is interessed by those proposals, there ways to contact me

Steam : YoungKorn

You can also contact me by private message I'll be active on those forums for a long time

PS : If someone wants to know why I want to make this game greater the only answers is because I love it
PPS : And if someone wants to know I played for 6 years of active competitions (LANS, tournaments...) on Halo Xbox and now I want something new

On the contrary, there has been a lot of discussion concerning the competitive future of For Honor since the beginning, and several threads made concerning the esports potential the game has (here (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1491188-What-modes-would-you-want-as-the-primary-E-Sports-mode-and-why-would-you-watch-them?), here (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1476981-suggestion-Ranking-and-E-sport?), here (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1461987-Fighting-for-Esports-Main-Multiplayer-Mode?), here (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1205590-E-SPORTS-Tournaments!?), here (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1415905-Esports-Team-Competitive?), here (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1376029-E-sport-potential?), here (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1347592-Possibility-for-Esports?)). The consensus, from what can be gathered from the forums anyway, is generally positive in terms of what the game could achieve in a competitive environment.

As you've indicated, the teamwork involved in the 4v4 modes makes for compelling strategy, and the relatively unique combat system lends itself to skill, which makes even duels viable for crowds to spectate---making it more of a fighting game. Provided the necessary in game tool are present (ladder/bracket system, matchmaking beyond a four person party, etc.), the game definitely offers a lot in terms of competitive potential.

There are also a few discord communities that have sprung up that could facilitate tournament organisation and whatnot. I'm part of the Hall of Heroes. Check us out if you'd like (click (https://discord.gg/cAvFXzK)).
