I and a few fellow Pilots have experienced lockups when nearing 109's mostly is seems to be the G2 model and at times on the f4 and e4 models also . It mainly seems to be when the sound of the model comes into play the lockup usually lasts about 3 to 5 seconds this is very off putting as its usually in a dogfight when you are on their 6 and about to fire .

I am using the Aces Expansion pack and have installed the sound dll update yet the problem is still there.

what I ask is a way to remove or replace the 109 sound files within the game so as to avoid this annoying bug in the game. IF there is such a way to replace or remove these sounds files could someone please contact me .

Regards Jester.

It appears to be invdividual issue since i never heard of it...but , i would suggest to record track on line and e-mail it to il2beta@1c.ru (Oleg checks that e-mail personally), also include your dxdiag and conf.ini

Good luck.

V!

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.
