Well Done! I especially liked the transistion from color to B&W, aged, degraded film look....it was a good technique to make the "Historical" impact ...

Feel free to stop over to Virtual War Cinema for further discussions/hange of movie-making ideas/techniques etc. VWC is a parallel forum for movie-makers..

If you do not object, I would like to host your movie on my site, embedded on its own page in 320X240 viewing size/window. Please let me know if you approve. The Link to my Site is in my sigblock below..

Great work on your first virtual film WR Otton.

You can crop out the green microphone icon (ahh, I forget the real name for it--netstat?) at the top of the frame with a program called "Virtual Dub." Just drop down about 18 lines of resolution and you can eliminate the icon. You can get Virtual Dub here:
http://www.virtualdub.org/

The Battle of Britain theme (a fav of mine) brings me to another IL-2 FB community member who began a very promising film about the BoB, gutted_666? This member shot a brief trailer to his film in August but I have never heard from him since. (If you're out there Gutted, we would like to hear from you again!)

Hans Zimmer--enough cannot be said about this composer's work on movie soundtracks.

I like your disclaimers in the credits Otton. Yeah, buy your games. Hehehe.

Oh and one question...How do u guys get the footage of the pilots running to their planes? Ive seen it in a few movies but never in the game itself.

The running guys are made using a TB3 with 0 fuel and a camera next to the plane. At game start they jump out and run and the plane vanishes...

Exceptional work. I'm not a movie maker but I know a fair amount about them. In any story, you need a point of view; who's story is it, why should we care. You nailed this. You make it clear form the start. I love the music, the whoe tone of it. Looking forward to more of your work.
