Which are you guys more excited about?

Personally Im looking forward to PF the most. There hasnt been a good 'Pacific' flight sim in such a long time. I remember the good old days of playing Dynamix's Aces over the Pacific or Aces of the Pacific, whatever it was called. Combat Flight Sim 2 wasnt bad...but just didnt have enough variety.

I really liked AoP a lot.

I'm more excited about BoB, because for it's going to be like the feeling I had when I installed the original Il*2 the first time... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gifwow

But PF will probably be by the end of this year...BoB will show up maybe in 2005 sometime but I almost half expect it to be closer to the end of 2005 or even early 2006.

I'm looking forward to BoB. To me, the Battle of Britian was one of the most important battles in history, about as inportant as the normandy landings. Lets face it, if the brits had lost, than england would of been invaded. From there, the germans would be able to hit north america with bombers, and our civilian causilities (being in Canada and the US) would be great. Also, at that time Canada military was in britian and would be gone along with britan, so Canada would be out of the picture, and also the US wasn't geared up for war during 1940, and would also fall quickly. Then when the Germans went for russia, they would win because alot of the russia's supplies came from Canada and the US (eg. food, lend-lease planes, ammunition, plane parts, etc). So if the germans had invaded Britian, the germans would of eventual won. Thats why it is one of my favort battles and thats why i cant wait for the game to come out.

Plus we'll have banter. Gotta love banter, top hole, top hole. Bally Gerry, pranged his kite right in the hows-your-father, dirty blighter, feathered back on his sammie, rolled over on his Betty Harpers... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/88.gif cabbage crates over the briny, tenpenny in the custard...

I don't think we have to choose. PF first, then BoB...and AEP on the shelf. Life is good!

I have to say BOB. It's going to be a newer game, and I like the older planes. They are more of a challenge. No one shot wonders.

They have a good movie about the battle of britian, you can guess the title, but for the hell of it the title is called "the battle of britian". Its a good movie about the airwar over britian. Its kinda old so dont expect Pear Harbor computer animation and tracer rounds coming out of the planes guns. But it really shows you the battle in a new light.

What ho, Squiffy? So you didn't get a word of it, old man? Perhaps if I said it slower? Maybe Wingco can lend an ear.

PF for me.

I'm getting the dreaded upgrade shakes as my measely 256meg of RAM is starting to feel the strain.

Bob will be more than welcome on my harddrive, but i wont be able to put away my Yaks and Laags for quite some time yet.

I'm excited by PF first, BoB later. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

My harddrive and heart has room for anything Maddox puts out.

(Unless the BoB install exceeds 100 gigs, then only my heart.)
