View Full Version : Game won't launch, 0xc000007b error

When I launch the game, I get this error : "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

What I've tried:

Reinstalling the game
Reinstalling Uplay
Verifying files
Updating direct X
Updating .NET Framework

Can someone help me out? I literally can't play the game, it's impossible to even launch it, even though I paid full price for this.

That error message can sometimes be caused by Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables aren't installed correctly on your PC. Our games do require those to run, so I highly recommend making sure they're installed properly.

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13523)
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653)
