Historical mission that took place over 60 years ago, based on memoirs of soviet and german pilots. Only on VFC*HOST, Tonight!

Hosted on dedicated machine, 20-22 pilot seats, depending on the mission. Smooth environtment and user friendly maps. Playable on all systems and connections http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

Never done a COOP, but was wanting to try. A few Q's:

1. What are the settings?
- Prefer close to FR settings, but w/speed bar on. My old eyes have trouble seeing the instruments. But NP w/FR if that is the case. I will adapt.

2. Do you use voice comms?
- I have RW & TS downloaded but haven't tried them yet. (I'm not a member of a squad.)

VFC Coops have these settings:

Minimap
Speedbar
Externals

Sometimes we run a TS server depending on player demand.

Due to the time difference I won't be able to make it again and, again and, again http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif.

But I look forward to seeing these coops when you make them available for download http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Thanks

RMutt is going to make download section for COOPs when he wakes up http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif. Korolov has no problems to share his products, so i would think very soon our COOPs will be available for download http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Thanks all for coming and sorry for two a little problems that we had. Korolov was sentenced to 20 hours of community service http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif for start of those Hurries 2ft above the ground LOL. It was a great fun and some fierce fighting in there.

I will not host COOPs during a week, but Firday night for sure. Saturday night no go, Valentines Day (will be with me honey) and Sunday night more COOPs from VFC.

See ya then http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Really appreciate you guys hosting the COOPs last night. My 1st time, and really enjoyed it! Haven't flown much online, but haven't really liked the dogfighting servers too much due to the lack of "organized" mahem you find in a COOP. I'm the guy most folks run into while I'm trying to taxi to the runway (safest place to be since no one seems to use it in most DF servers).

Just wished the allies had used the voice comms more last night. I had no one to talk to until the last frame; but even with just one other pilot on really added to the experience. This was my 1st time with voice comms too, so it took me awhile to figure out why no one could hear me (mic volume turned down to 0...very embarrassing).

Anyway, cudos and big salute to you guys. Great events!! I strongly recommend COOPs to all. Much better than DF servers IMO.
