Anno power trading to real life

So i think Anno has the right idea even in the real world we are killing this planet and at some point will run out of resources for more power other than nuclear. My little question here is if we could get a nice unlimited amount of energy from our moon ever with fusion or just solar how could we get it down the earth?! In anno's way they send it down in a big lazor light thingiee... but to me i'd say this is pretty unsafe for use in the real world i really dont like the sound of shooting our planet with a big lazor. :D

So any idea's guys/girls??

Japan plans to build solar sattelites, that beam Microwaves to a special island. there it will be converted to dc electricity
