I'm in the final stages of biulding Revells 1/32 scale FW 190F8. The directions call for painting the bombs(1 250kg +4 50kgk) YELLOW.
I thought in the Luftwaffe inventory, chemical weapons were yellow. (none in FBhttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif)
Thought some of the historians out there might know more.

I would paint them RLM 71 or even RLM 02, but definitely not yellow...

I'm afraid some bombs were painted yellow... If you're not sure, go Fro RLM 70 Schwaragrun or RLM 21 Schwarz - they were both common bomb colours. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

They might mean a yellow stripe on the tail, that would be consistent with SC250-500.
