I'd have to say DCG, of the choices available there.

Had to vote Hyperlobby.
If there was no FMBuilder then I would have voted DCG.

I'm voting for the DCG, since everyone can have fun with the campaigns. Hyperlobby rocks the stratosphere, but only the online folks benefit. UQMG seems to have an early lead, maybe I'll check it out again.

IL2Stab for me.

IL2Manager... It likes to crash my system about once every 20 uses. Because of that I tend not to use it.

UQMG? Last I knew it hadn't been updated to AEP yet....so I tend not to use it either.

DCG? Still learning.

HyperLobby...Well I use it because I have to. I really dont like to use it but all the other places are pretty much empty. My prefered method of play is to manually connect to a friends coop/campaign temp server.

I'd have to say UQMG this is one great program.
Although i cant seem to get the "shift E" thingy to work cause its greyed out and the ? tabs dont show any help files either...anyone else have this problem or is it coming in a later update?

Yup. Scripted server's running FBDaemon have changed the expectations and enjoyment of online play more than anything.

DCG for me. To be fair I can't really offer a opinion on online anything as I pull a paltry 18 or 19 kbs on a good day here. Slideshow freezeframe just don't get it for me.

Wish the heck I could as it would be a honer to be cannon fodder for some of you gents.

I've used UQMG and liked it (before AEP) but am not familiar with DCG. I did a search and too many posts to show anything.

Would anybody be kind enough to explain?

Thanks!

UQMG. Think about it:

The missions generated by this program are usable ONLINE ONLINE ONLINE! (oops, sorry. I didn't mean to shout.) The rest of these proggies are catering to either online, or offline play, with the possible exception of IL2Manager, which seems more useful for online play than offline. UQMB provides a way to build quick multiplayer missions as well as single player missions. It has my vote on versatility alone . . . not to mention all the REALLY cool things that you can do with it on the fly.

The only reason that I didn't say HyperLobby was because it has applications for games other than Il-2 FB.

Teufel_Eldritch,

I am not in the US, so I have not gotten AEP yet. When I do I'll start working on it. Even without the new planes you should be able to have fun with it.

Monty_Thrud,

Shift_E's QMT is a separate program that we worked on some integration. You can download it and install it from my site at www.uberdemon.com (http://www.uberdemon.com) . After installing it, then go to the UQMG "Tools" menu to configure it.

I am concerned that the help info is not coming up in the "?" buttons. Do you have a file called "mischelp.ini" in the "C:\Program Files\UberQuickFB\ini\fb100\main\missionDefaults" directory? (Assuming you installed UQMG to the default directory) and is it 26Kb?

Let me know and I'll try to help.

Hyperloby hands-down. I guess I'm not really an offline guy, so most of the other stuff rests idle on my hard drive. I really enjoyed fooling around w/ UQMG. I'd also nominate voice comms (TS, RW, etc.). I know theyre not specific to FB, but they do add a lot to the game.

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

I use il2stab DCG and UQMG and have to say that they're all excellent in their own right.
However as all 3 do entirely different things I think it's a bit unfair to compare them...

I've voted for UQMG as it's probably the most revolutionary in what it does.
