View Full Version : Why do ppl keep dismissing the rate of fire?

It's ONLY A DEMO! Hell it even says when you quit the demo that this game does not represent the final version! It could just as well have rof in the final version, and in my farfetched hopes a way of toning down the reticle for more targeting rather than just kill everything in the reticle. But, i doubt that will happen.

no room on the controller for it that would make sense. i doubt there will be customizable guns like the pc verson either because of the way the buttons are layed out in the demo with thermal.

like he said above...but also...NO ONE IS TOTALLY DISMISSING IT

if you look at any ROF posts...most state that people hope it is there in the final version

the reason i have my doubts is because of any new screenshots that come out do not have them in it...their are 2 diff huds out there, the one in the demo(and most of the New screenshots) and the hud in www.rainbowsix3.com (http://www.rainbowsix3.com) 's screenshots(these show a rate of fire, and are also old)

it isn't very convinient, but there is rate of fire. try lightly tapping the r tigger. it will fire a single shot. tap it a bit harder. it will fire a short burst. press it down, it will fire full-auto

Seeing how i havent played the demo i might be mistaken but why couldnt they keep the control scheme from Ghost Recon? Change some minor things like for an example the Y button wont be needed for changing soldier.

HK_Raven- Pnce you play the demo you'll see why using the GR set up wouldn't work.

Right now everything on the controler is being used.

THIS IS A console port of the PC version!!
It's and action-based FPS not the ol' boring PC simulation
Just tap the friggin' right trigger damn-it, geez !! LOL

you obviously havent played GR or the pc R6...and if you didnt like those, then you might want to stick with Wolf, Unreal and SOFII

you should definitly be able to change the rate of fire especially since in the single player you get very few magazines and on auto fire the finish rather quick and it should also be there just for the sake of realism in the tom clancy franchise
