I posted this in the bug thread, but I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and knows what is causing it...

At the very beginning of a co-op mission, if you look externally, you can see planes warping onto the runway from the right. Now I admit, this is little annoying at best, but here is the problem with it. For some reason, and on a rare occassion, the warping AI planes will cause player flown planes to suddenly explode for no reason. Collission perhaps? I dont know.

My squad is currently flying a on-line campaign and about 30% of the missions have to be scrapped because of this. I also had the same experience in a VEF mission yesterday.

Some people said that is was caused by people starting their track recordings before the mission starts, but no one in my squad records tracks from the start of a mission.

So, anyone have a handle on this? Know if it is being looked at or if anyone else has seen this problem?

I know a lot of folks here are strict dogfighter server gladiators, but for the mission oriented crowd, we would like to know how to combat this error.

until the patch - try doing airstarts.

Also - limit the number of aircraft per base when designing the coop.

Hi Fehler & Recon

I lost 15 pilots the other night in a coop all exploded on entry only 2 AI survived.
SPB misions seem to cause the most devistion hehehe.

It`s fixed in upcoming patch mate. You have two options mate ...either do airstart, as Recon suggested... or don`t place more then 6 planes on 1 runway.

V!

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.
