Does the Gold Pack come with a printed manual? I don't have the sim yet and am considering purchasing. Thanks.

Yes. If you have Forgotten Battles, the Gold Pack manual is essentially 99 % the same as the FB manual. The only difference is several additional pages at the end with a plane list for the new AEP planes and information on the new feature -- dynamic online campaign (NGen).

So what's in the AEP (single) version manual?

Glad I bought the original IL2 first. The keycard has all the guages on the one side.

Nope. Just the 2 disks of IL-2:FB packaged with the one disk of the AEP expansion (3 disks vs. 1 disk for the AEP version). And the IL-2:FB disks included are version 1.0, no patches are included with the package. You're advised to install version 1.0, then the AEP to bring it to version 2.0 .

The only advantage of a Gold Pack is that you are getting IL2: FB for only $10http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
