I need translation help from somebody who knows Japanese and English and is familiar with aeronautical terms. I have a key from a diagram that I need translated. You know how when you see a cutaway drawing, and on the facing page is a list of items that correspond to numbers on the drawing? That's what I mean. Here's an example from the diagram (I know what it says, but it's just an example):

http://home.earthlink.net/~daniels369/misc/il2/sample.gif

There are 120 items total. For somebody who knows the language it might take ten minutes to read the item and type what it is in English into a text file and send it to me.

I can't offer anything in return, unfortunately. Just know that you've contributed to Pacific Fighters in some small way, by making some tough work much easier for me. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

If you can help, please e-mail me:

daniels369 at hotmail dot com

I will send you the link to the image of the diagram. Thanks in advance if you can render assistance!

Anybody?

Seriously, this would shave hours of screwing around off of my work time, not to mention any time I'd have to spend waiting for help from other channels. I NEED THE COMMUNITY!!!1

(I'm not going to be cynical and wonder why we get ten threads a day on "Adam Bombs" but not many responses to real help needed) http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

If you have a couple days worth of patience, pls PT the file to me. I work closely with Japan Airlines and Japan Air Cargo... someone there should be able to translate.

Cheers,

Penguin,
My wife and I will do it if you like. I am interested in aviation history and she is japanese. Although she isnt an aviation expert she is a professional translator so she should be able to cope. Please contact me via private topic with the link and when you require the translation by.

OK... I started "Private Topics" for both of you who have offered to help, but I don't know if I'm using the PT system right... Do I have to give you an address or something, or do you see them automatically?
