Take one Giant, set payload to paratroppers, set altitude to something like 3000m, shoot the giant up pretty good so that they start to bail in a controlled fashion e.g long line, the overshoot turn and start plucking off,
managed 8 before I flew into the ninth and exploded, its fun once, then I quit since it dosen't seem right, although it is a game /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

It would depend, offline, who cares. If it was online, no way. IMO.

ahaahha set it so the plane you down has 32 paratroopers. Fly in an IL-2 with napalm canisters. Fry them when they start bailing out. Offline If they bail out over russian territory I dont waste the bullets, i know the troopers on the ground will finish them for me. Cant help it, nazi or not, theyve got that swaztika on the plane and historical or not it makes me hate them. I mean if they bail out all theyre going to do tommorow is just get into another plane and start doing it over again, i just finish the job

Depends on the kind of mission. If it's a dogfight and you woop 'em fair and square, it's kind of dirty pool to mow chutes.

However... if you're flying defence over a friendly city and an enemy Bf-110 (on ACE setting) smacks you a few times with the rear gunner and then drops his bombs on your town, by all means, blast them until they are dust.

It really depends on the attitude and immersion of the mission.

No, the planes in FB do not have a swastika on them. A few repaints might have one. I seriously doubt you are going to encounter any Nazis while playing this game. German aircraft, yes. Makes you hate them huh? Everyone I meet online is just another gamer like myself. Most are here for fun. I think you may need therapy.

Its a game. We are all going to get another plane and keep shooting. Strafing chutes online, just shows a lot of disrespect to your opponent.

Me- none. Don`t believe in it. And that`s how it`s gonna stay.

(Unless I find the guy who shot me on the ground once after I`d just crashlanded and ran. He`ll get a taste of his own medicine)!

P.S. Actually this was a test. I`m pleasantly surprised to see that few replied and those that did most have rarely shot bailers and feel guilty when they do. The Human Race has a chance after all! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Paratroopers I'll go for, especially if we've gotten a mission to stop a wing of them dropping into our back country. They are real live (well sort of, it is a game after all) combatants, and they will be fighting once they hit the ground. It's just the same as straffing or dropping napalm on a troop column.

I do try and aim for the guy in the chute, however. I know I'd prefer to get killed outright, rather than spend the last ten twenty seconds or so contemplating what I'm going to feel like after I hit the ground. That and, people can sometimes survive some amazing falls without injury. If you hit them with a few machinegun rounds, they are at least wounded, and unable to particapate in the battle.

Pilots I usually don't chute, though I have had some bail out right through a stream of bullets. Of course, I've done that a number of times myself, so I can't really complain.

when you fly a paratroop carrying ai plane online, you have a VERY large supply of paratroops. they just keep coming out as much as 5+ at a time. there are so many, most hit eachother and fall but the ones that remain are fun to go after with mg's. kinda dangerous because one collision with a chute and you're dead.

I only did it once, and on accident. I circled back around, and flew past the falling airplane. The pilot had not deployed his chute yet, and i actually clipped his body with my wing. He died, and so did I after my wing tore off. We both got a laugh out of it.

I have only blasted a pilot in his chute after shooting him down once, and that was due to his loud mouth and racist things he was saying right to that point. Right after I did he called me some colorful word's then left the game, so I got what I wanted. Other than that I really see no honor in doing such a thing and still I feel kinda bad about having done it, but he really pi$$ed me and everyone else off.

Its a game.
If you shoot someone in the chute there not really going to die, there just going to press refly.
Actually, i would prefer it if i get shot more in the chute, hanging up there all that time is boring, get shot ends the game faster.
Although in some online wars like VOW/VEF it would be pretty nasty to get shot in chute... haha you'd have to be a real meanie to do that! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Ive done it hundreds of times, I hate when people try to get their points, I especially kill them if its scripted.. If i see a shoot on the ground ill shoot around it, I also love to kill them RIGHT as they jump out of their pit and watch their bodies missile towards the earth...

or if i have to ill ram them, but thats if i really have to.

Ill let them live if i know the person is a whinner
