What would you do with that gift?

Personally, I'd keep it to myself. I don't think that the rest of humanity is ready for it. THere are too many people who would exploit the Ages we vist. I am of the opinion that the D'ni weren't totally ready for it, and that's a reason why their civilization fell.

well, i would probably create a world somewhat like our own, but with different creatures and such. and i would probably have one semi-intelegant race that i could easily rule over. just kidding, i have no interest in that sort of power. i probably would make an intellegant race, but an intellegance that's based more on wisdom, instead of knowledge.

I would write an age that works like a mood ring and changes to match my desires. At the moment I'm in the mood for an underwater Atlantis type world.

You don't want to know. My imagination is a dark and scary place. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Seriously though, some of my ideas can be put into words. You have to see them. I'm working on drawings.

I would write my "away from it all" place/world. Whenever I can't handle things, I'd just go there to relax and meditate. Sometimes, I'll bring some of my close friends and boyfriend to it and share the beauty and serentity of the world.

I'd be dead since I would try to create ages that defy laws of nature.

Just as Speedyserd, I would write an Age where I could relax and unwind. A beach where I could lie and swim in the ocean, and a bar where I could shoot some pool.
There would be a cabin with a fire place, and lots of forest that I could walk through.
To keep in the mindset of Myst, there would be challenging puzzles for me to solve, with small rewards such as an ice-cream or a soft blanket. (For when I lie on the beach http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif )

Strive for who you can be, not who you should be.

Yum... ice cream...
Actually, I would model mine like the Myst island. I found the small forest on the island and being surround by the water very pretty. But I would add in this huge field filled with wild flowers, some hills, a few brooks... I don't know what else would be in it since I like so many things but I do see the beauty of nature. But then again, there should be things to do as well...

I would write a tranquil serine forest age with a nice house and a large garden. A gorgeous green all summer and a snow glow effect in winter. Where I could go to relax after a long day at work.
