O.K. Here's another one ?

When I switch to gunner view in IL2 keyboard "C" how come the airplane goes whacko !! It goes about 90 deg up elevator and thyen stalls. Is the keyboard "C" connected to something ?? Hope this is enough info. It dose it everytime.

No,is just that when you jump in gunner position,auto pilot takes it over in case you have it enabled (by default it is),therefore he will rush to the next waypoint,is for that you don't get such a smooth ride http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

remember, you can make it so that you can manually turn autopilot off and on, so you can fly while tailgunning (pretty sweet)

As far as I know,if you turn it off you can still fly the plane from gunner position but you can't fire the gun.When I have pilot automation on, when I move to gunner seat autopilot kicks in and I can hand the gun.When I have pilot automation off,when I move to gunner seat I still can fly the plane,but I can't hand the gun where I am. Strange but I was told that is working like that.

yes, because you have turned off autopilot automation - when you jump to the gunners seat you have to turn off its autopilot to use the gun- the plane will still be under your control. just remember to turn it back on before going back to the cockpit, or your gunner will not fire on his own
