10 PM International Conflict, Im sure they will play it for the next few months http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

On discovery wings they had some great footage from 39-45 of all russian aircraft.

The also stated the problem of the la7 the removal of the cockpit vents making the canopy cause condensation buildup. The also showed footage of the la7s wing roots, and the holes were too small so they beat the dowels in with mallots which weakened them and was the reason many la7s lost wings in flight but was corrected in late 1945.

The also showed video of the yak 9u russias first all metal airframe fighter which was made because the wooden parts were extremely fragile to enemy gunfire and stress, Check it out some really great footage lots of mig3 info there too, I never knew the il2 used the same engines as the mig 3. Theres also some footage of il2s getting shot down by f4s hige fireball and missing wings. Check it out they also show the yak3 full roll rate a hell of alot slower then in fb
