Damn! I've got an 8 year old computer that still runs FB, it's a miracle. Oleg, first off, you da man if you can pull that off for me! Secondly, if your FPS jumped up by 10 frames, then I'll be running at 21 fps instead of 11, and enjoying every frame of it! (I won't be home for another four weeks. The separation from FB is hard. But I'm going through worse right now.)

THANK YOU OLEG!

PBNA-Boosher, don't be so quick to rush home http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

The reported 10 fps additive increase may result from a, say, 10 percent multiplicative increase in fps, which, in your case, will probably give you a 0.05 fps additive increase. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I started out in FB with an MSI motherboard with integrated Trident video (no AGP slots). But that was last year. My Trident experience resulted in my becoming the Master of manually tweaking "conf" file for 12 fps maximum at 640x480 and All Flat settings. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Things are as smooth as ever with Cat 4.7's and the latest patch. This level of supreme developer support is a fantastic way to breed customer loyalty.

Hmmm... nothing happened here, same FPS .... Not fair! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

There is a possibility that some settings got altered, something that was not correctly set in the begining got overwritten somehow and you got the boost. Quiet often, after the patches some settings get changed and it is recommended to set everything to default and then to desired http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

Hmmm, my FPS are up too, but then I did install a 9800 Pro, another 512mb RAM and a new 480W PSU just before the patch http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
