A Winner at E3 sim gathering,
This Russian Naval simulation will feature A/C from our favorite sim IL-2!

It also will feature amazing water and realistic historic ship models,
If they get IL-2 A/C models can whe have their ship models for PF!?

You can Fight in PT Patrol torpedo boats in The Russian Navy, US Navy and Kriegs marine S-Boats.

Ever seen that Cinema masterpiece "They were expandeble" ? soon you can play in it!

Follow the link below and download The Demo "PT Boats Knights of the Sea"

I've been tracking this game's progress for months. Made by a Russian company called Akella, I think, which produced "Age of Sail." "Age of Sail's" later versions were OK but nothing groundbreaking. However, "PT-boats: Knights of the Sea" really wowed the reviewers at E3 and the design is definitely getting help from Oleg & Co.

I'm looking forward to this game more than Pacific Fighters -- if it lives up to expectations. If it doesn't, I'll be crushingly disappointed.

Ubisoft has "Silent Hunter" in the works and has a relationship with Oleg. Oleg is producing "Pacific Fighters" and has a relationship with "PT Boats."

Could a arrangement that could dominate historical World War II naval and air sims be in the works? One can only drool and stammer.

Sorry about the dissapointment! Guys & Dolls.
It is only a video and screenshots, But to me this was a pleasant find!

I always wonder why Madddox is shy giving us info on other projects they contribute to, it only ads to my respect that with all the work they put in this sim they also contribute behind the screens, on others!

What happend to that prommising looking tactical, Russian front tank game!?
"Combat Commander" / "RPF" or something like that it was called.

Game looks pretty awesome.

I wonder if both development companies are sharing programming secrets - the water in the PT boat game looks reminiscent of the new water expected in PF (whitecaps and turbulent swells).

I wish Oleg and crew would maybe get 2 tips from the Akella group:

1) Machine gun sounds - the machine gun in the video is much more convincing than the sound effects in Il2/AEP. It also sounds like Akella may be using the same sound engine as Il2, since the FW190 has the same sound and there may be a doppler effect with the boats zooming by.

2) Realistic weather effects - the gloomy clouds and steely grey sky are convincing, would be nice to use the same effects in PF.

Just my 2 cents http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

BPK, your right but i am dissapointed with the sound of the Elco PT's engines sound.
Also strange that you don't hear the Boat cutting trough the water!

But for a game in devellopment those things can be changed to good.
