I'm fairly sure that it's a USB 1.1 device. The stick is about 2 years old, which means it predates USB 2. However, I have the X45 and I have no complaints. In all respects it's a great stick. The only thing I wish it had was force feedback. It's still worth the price though.

One thing about FB is that it doesn't recognize one of the axes on the throttle (the thumb mouse). Instead of an axis, the game sees it as 4 buttons. (up, down, left and right are 4 buttons in FB).

Actually, if you use the programming software you can use that thumb mouse as a mouse. As for using it as an axis, I don't see why you could, since you can't use any of the other hats as an axis. It would be nice though, for something like trim, but as it in, you'd have to map it for keypresses.

It wont make a lot of difference, USB1 is plenty fast enough for control input.
