View Full Version : R6 the Master Race? or is Hitman Becoming Closer to the Other White Meat?

So i pre-ordered the "Hitman Intro-Pack" from Steam for the self-titled Hitman, the next installment, with Next-Gen Graphics and Boasts a similar experience to the 'crust' of Hitman's existence, Blood Money, with elements that worked well from Hitman, Absolution... the Beta is proving to be strong in demonstrating the freedom of choice to assasinate your target, in any way you choose.... i posted this video on Hitman-related social media as an alternative to the "disguise and sneak" gamplay style us Long-Time Hitman Fans are used to, and it got some good feedback. Note my unconventional control scheme, using mouse buttons, arrow keys, and surrounding keys to map to common functions, enjoy!

Always been a big fan of Hitman but it seems there's a pattern to how good a game will be in this series:

1-Codename 47: Bad game, good idea but poorly implemented

2-Silent Assassin: Amazing game!

3-Contracts: Kinda a remake of the first one, no real connection between mission, not bad but nothing amazing either.

4-Blood Money: Amazing game!(One of the best game I ever played)

5-Absolution: Haven't played it yet but the reviews were saying it's wasn't really good(or bad), that it felt like a generic shooter more than a real Hitman game.

6-Hitman: well, hopefully it will fellow the pattern and be an amazing game! Can't wait for it to be out and read the reviews.

Reading what you just wrote, I really hope it follows that pattern:p

Yes! Definitely, since being announced it will be Open-World and have plenty of multitude in ways to take out targets, like Blood Money... Instinct is back and improved, so that an NPC who is likely to spot you, labelled with a dot over their head, can be avoided with Instinct.

that's about the only thing from Absolution there is. Absolution was too linear, and it was a blood-bath, no real way to remain undetected by most NPC's and then firefights ensue and never end until a mission is over :(. But, like i said, no more of that.

The Intro Pack is $14.99 on Steam, and it includes 3 tutorial training missions and the Prologue, plus 2 or 3 later missions, and for ~$45 you can upgrade it if you like it to the full version, altogether costing the same $60 that the full game costs. i just needed the BETA which will end March 11 to play to see if i was willing to play it, i bought absolution and the linear gameplay, NPC-Murder, and grimy scenery all turned me off, but this one will not be that way;).
