I get that there's no jumping - however getting stuck on a crate edge or lip of any climbable object and rolling in place over and over in a physically impossible way is just plain frustrating and idiotic.

The first big fight in the hospital is a great example of this kind of broken character interaction with the level geometry. The cover and height advantage of climbing up onto the containers is completely nullified by the bugged movement when trying to get out of a grenade area of impact. Using a diving roll the character should at the very least drop straight down the floor level not cartwheel in place over and over again like an absurd old fashioned trapeze toy - all the while being pelted by gunfire and unable to move out of the area of effect.
