Should the Iliad feature a role in the next AC (it is contemporary with Ancient Egypt afterall.)

You should look at the work of Giorgio Albertini and http://www.salimbeti.com/micenei/armour5.htm

These are historical artists who have gone through the Iliad's detailed descriptions line by line and recreated the armor, clothes and equipment how they actually were.

E.g. The hexameter details the armor and sword of Achilles, Hector, etc. in minute detail, yet needs a historian and an artist to decipher and translate that into actuality.

Same goes for the appearance of Wilusa (Troy) and Mycenae.

Ancient Egypt is a vast period of 2000 years of History, preceding the Ptolemaic Era. So saying its contemporary with the Trojan War (which by the way is MYTH not history) is ridiculous.

A game in Ancient Egypt will undoubtedly use motifs from Egyptian mythology I think.

The Iliad took place in Ilium which is in Modern Day Turkey. Across the Mediterranean from Egypt and Nile.

Unity pretty much wrapped up the Sword of Eden plotline... unless there is more than one sword in existence. Dunh dunh dunh. Dunh!

Notice that the Achilles painting is filed under the Staff of Eden puzzle even though Achilles was known for his sword. What does that mean?!?! :O :o
